John Wambu is fencing the 20acres and will complete that exercise in the next few hours...He has visited the offices concerning the land issue and has done more inquiry on the 20acre land saga. Francis and John have written letters to the ministerial offices to inquire why they have not made any move or decision concerning our land. The people who invaded the land are still continuing with building other structures on the property.
4 single mothers have been moved to the new mother's house. Necessary materials have been bought to make their stay there more comfortable. They will be living there with their kids too.
Four students have accepted Christ in their lives and were baptized today. Francis will have more details about this.
Robin and Nzioka are now working on furniture that will go into the beauty/salon that will be used in training hairdressing students. Some products and machinery have already been purchased towards this cause.
All skills students are doing well in their different areas. Lucy-in auto mechanics has expressed the desire to pursue electrical wiring in cars, Lucy is the only lady who is a single mother who has chosen Auto mechanic as a skill. Mercy Mugure (single mother), who also has expressed the desire for secretarial course. She will gather as much knowledge about computer studies first before she gets to go to college. Ken Wambugu is going on with training to get a drivers' licence. Lucy Wambui, Mercy Kisya and Eunice are still proceeding with their training in hairdressing at a college near the town center. Mercy Wanja is on attachment in our own cafeteria, she was in catering classes and was one of the best students. She has been facing challenges but doing so well thus far.
