The long awaited, anticipated, planned for concert finally happened on Saturday the 20th. The day started with blessing of rain, the warm sunshine followed.
(I guess the rain was to test our faith). We had the chance of networking with an organization called teen challenge, which is a rehabilitation for drug abusers. We strongly believe it was God's intention that this two ministries work together towards the cause of trying to change our kids' lives. We selected two of our girl to be going for practices with the choir at Teen Challenge.
At the concert our kids did various performances and participated in competition with the guest who were Teen Challenge and the part of the community that attended the occasion. The praise and worship time was AWESOME! The performances from different rap, dancing groups from our kids were nice and fitting to the occasion. We even have some students who can do do acrobats!
The concert started on a high note and ended on a the same note. The main aim was to show our kids that God can be served in all capacity.
Thanks to an all time friends of MITS, Katera and Andrew for making this possible to our kids. They have really learnt a great deal and have really matured in spirit and wisdom through the camp week and concert. May you guys be blessed tremendously!
