Bilha Kamau one of our Hair Dressing teachers got married this past week. At the same time Ken Atsiaya, who works in our farm and also works with our young adults in Church also got married. Funny, that the two weddings were on the same day and time. The team sent good representatives in both weddings.
in other sad but rather good news, Philip, our education coordinator was involved in a car wreck. We thank God that he got out of the wreck without major injuries but minor scratches. He was driving to school located further East.Philip is in Daystar University taking his Degree in Mathematics.
- The new building for the Sunday school is almost done,
- The 9 new boys are still going on with orientation(1 boy took off back to the streets). There are possible plans to bring two boys, the Eastleigh team is still working on the papers work needed.
- Planners and committees planning on our December projects have come up with a budget and schedule of all the events that will take place to make December a fun time for our kids. Your contribution and prayer will be highly appreciated.
- Graduation and parents day are also within those plans. We plan to hold both Parents day and Graduation on the 12th of December.
- We have almost 20 students joining the Skills training program from next year.
