New strategy!

For the business of sewing to be successful the team has decided to select one of the rooms to act as a point where all the items that has been made in both the sewing plant and the woodshop to be displayed in. It is under renovation as of now, with nice paint job from two volunteering students. Sales will also be done at this point. Jackton has been working closely with both Bill Smith and Bob Brannon on making sure this pick up and becomes a success. Francis, Jackton, Victor and myself have also completed a two week course with Bob on using Quickbooks, to learn how to keep better records of both accounting and finances.

Our main plan is to target the local schools within the areas that sourrounds us, and get contracts from the schools to produce school uniforms for them. As of now we have three school. Bill and Charles have made brochures and fliers to help with marketing the business. The brochures has detailed prices of every uniform size.

This coming Saturday the MITS community that is both team and students, will be going out to the community to help market the new business and its items. We plan to divide eath other to cover more ground. Bill calls it 'The MITS army', we will go door to door, as we distribute fliers and borchures, telling parents, gurdians and kids about the shop at MITS.

The Galaxy Quadribles

With all round happiness,Look at the stars at a clear sky at night,you may be filled with joy and countless questions about what goes around in the sky,and when you turn your head,what is around is all darkness,what comes to aur minds is then lets go to sleep,but guys at MITS its time to pray that God will help the Guys who are being Baptised,that they will remain to serve God in their lives,
" Great is thy faithfulness" is a song that comes into my mind,when i see guys give their lives to God and also get Baptised,But questions linger,what shall we do next for this Guys the awnser is pray for them always,and encourage them,
Wind is a sign that there is motion in the Midst,so either be prepared for a storm or a whirlwind which is which, remains in Gods hands We have no power over it,guys are like stars that shine in their yuthfull stages,but then storms and wirlwinds come and go. saints must always be standing with them in prayers,Now the Journey has started we thank God,we may not decide where it will end,but God knows Better than all of us,
Baptism is not Juggling,though in juggling one has to train, Baptism is a Calling,and the one calling is God, no wonder John the Baptist once said " i am the voice that is calling in the wilderness prepare the way,Lets prepare this havested stars,show them more the true way of God,in deed and by example,The storm is growing bigger and bigger and guys want to be Baptised, expect more becouse questions about baptism are overwelming,God give us wisdom to read the Bible and anser questions satsfactorily. Court Injuction

Francis went to the courts today with our attorney to get the injuction. Well it didn't go well as we anticipated. He got there, and the lawyer for the other side said that he never got enough time to make a case. Since he only got some details concerning the case yesterday. His plea was that he needed more time to understand the case better. He was given upto November 11th by the judge. But the judge gave order by word of mouth that all activities taking place at the property should cease and no construction should continue. We as MITS will continue with our normal programs, as we still prayer over this matter. I still thank all of you, our extendend family for putting us in your prayers.

Entries to the Book of Life!

Stars in the East

When i look at stars i imagine,the lighting that they give and more assuadly at night times,during one persons birth who lived on earth and continues to live in the so called born agains lives,stars anounsed him,but during his life on earth he was Baptised by John,then John anounsed him and said this the one in whose shoes i can not fit,
Baptism therfore is a word when heard of, those who understands it,other words like Death,burial,and resurrectoin comes to there minds,but before all this happens there must have been suffering,and indeed christ suffered so that me and you must see life and to its fullest,
On sunday we had Stars in the east,this beeing Kenya a country in Eastern south of Sahara, East Africa,Eastern part of Nairobi,I witnest three guys recieve Baptism this was George,Titus,Francis and Cugia at the Kamulu Church of christ,indeed this were our stars of the day,
Then hay guys pull on the band wagon of christ with joy we shall be there with you,Jesus who is in you is more greater than that which is outside.we are more than congerous,Bravo,bravo,b- r- a -v -o o o guys may God give you strength to live on,becouse you died, were buried under water by Baptism,come out of the water resurrected and now live for he lord,this is Simon k Martine.

Update on 20acre saga

Francis went to the judge twice, he found the judge had 45 cases. The judge said land issues are a bit tricky, and he cannot give an injunction until both sides presents their documents/case, because there has been cases of lands having multiple ownership. The judge said the MP(member of parliament) should present his papers and we compare, so a case can be developed then a decision can be made from that. The MP has 14 working days to present his case to the court. (By the way the MP has so many pending cases in court regarding fraud of many kinds.) John also said that the people who were involved in the 20 acre saga, (those mostly in the picture) are starting to get scared, and wanting an audience with John and Francis. The main guy who owns a fleet of businesses stores just next to us is no where in sight. They allegedly are spreading rumors that they had sat down with John and Francis, that they had agreed that from the 20 acres they be given 4 acres and that would settle the deal.
As we wait for the 14 working days for the MP to present his case, John visited with local police station boss to get advice on what we can do to stop the continuing process of building and to get some form of justice for Fatuma being harmed in the melee. We are not facing any violence, and peace is now restored to the both the teams' and students' hearts. I think the community is realizing the error they did and are trying to find ways to amend their mistake.
Let us still be in prayer for, the judge to give us an injunction, the police to help us with putting a halt on the building progress at the property, and Ben (his arm still aches) and Fatuma.

Power in Words

Its with much love accompanment when someone is looking for assuarance that things will work out good,all is well are the words to put in the cap,humanity is a creation that when well thouhgt of,feels someone is there for me,and this brings rejuvination,The MITS team is focused to duty and today everyone seems to be determined to serve,the students look happy and ready for studies as i can read their moods,no one seems moody,
I want to bring to my readers realisation that there is power in the words we speak,write,mail,blog to others.after reading from our exdented familys out there, guys feld ohoo!brothers ,sisters.mothers and fathers are praying for us,just after Coulstone read the E-mails from frinds,Keep up guys you are energyising the Mits Fratrnity,
Power in itself simplifies what i call,accordings to (Martines dictionery)holding firm with assuarance,therfore when you hold firm to anything you are sure of, then Freedom birthes in you,which then ascends to Faith. for we all must know that even God the creater says to all his creation, me and you included, that without faith you can not please him(God).so everyone lets hold on faith to fist please God then be assured of good,contentment,momentum and assuarance,thats power in the words,use it wisely,writng is an educator of Bible,mathematic,science and counselling Simon k martine.

20 acres saga!

There were two people in a city. one person was rich and the other was poor. so the rich man had much wealth and the poor had almost nothing. The poor person utilized all he had to bring up his life to its standard. This poor man had one sheep that he loved so much he fed it and slept together. But the rich man had many sheep and when he had visitors, instead of getting one sheep out of his flock he went to get from the poor person.
This story quoted from the Bible about Nathan and David the king. it pictures what happened in our ministry last Tuesday at our property at 20acres land. Whereby the people whom we thought to be friends of MITS turned against us to battle with us. The assistant chief and the so called committe members mobilised people around to take over our land. This also included the area Member of Parliament(MP). Before the MP arrived the people who were around were able to talk with us humbly but afterwards things changed as if their 'god' had arrived.A lot of abuses were thrown to us: the M.P steered the group in pulling up the entire fence around the property and started digging a foundation of their secondary school which they claim is grabbed land for this purpose. After our other students arrived the bodyguards to the M.P started beatingus up! (a rumor had circualted that we were goingt o get streets guys to come and aid us in this battle, so when they saw the bus coming that is what they thought). I narrowly escaped the beating from the crowd. since I was the one taking photos and one of the bodyguard threw a spade at me, unfortunately it fell on Benjamin. Philip, Martin and I were chased by more than 15 people only wanting the camera, while Jackton sped the bus away removing it from harms way. Fatuma was hit on her arm, making it swell, while Micheal escaped narrowly from am spade which was coming to yank out his arm. He claims he know the person who almost took his arm. Victor, Benjamin and the students were taken to the hospital by Moses. I wished to do much but I thought what JESUS said about not taking revenge but pray for them.
What we had expected from the M.P never work out. we expected him first to gather information about the land.He also misused his authourity and leading people in demolishing the property worth thousands of dollars. He was also supposed to be happy about this organisation of good work done to the youth of the street. God will never forsake us. The battle belongs to the lord.
They are rich Earthly, but MITS is rich in SPIRIT. AMEN

(...Francis is now working on getting an injuction from the courts to stop any attempts of building and tresspassing on our property. The police were helpful and dispatched a photographer to come and take photos for more evidence. All of us involved also went to the local police station to record our statements as adviced by the lawyer, Robin and Nzioka have made signs for putting at the 20 acres showing that it is still the property of street children... Let me take this chance to thank you all our readers, for the prayers, and you thinking of us and our welfare. It really touches and warms our hearts knowing that you think of us and love us so much. My best Game!

My name is Francis. And there is something that I love most and something I don’t love. Some of the things I don’t love are when somebody commands me or somebody giving me very hard work. But I like it most when somebody brings me sweet good food and of course my best game is not soccer or basketball but truly my best game is eating. I prefer to play the game. I thank God because he gives everybody a chance to play this game all his or her life. I don’t think there is any retirement of this game played everyday world wide. I know is not only me who like this game called eating because this game does not need two people because it is not a two player game. This game is most loved by everybody because everybody prefers to play it even ten times if possible but everybody at least plays it three times a day which is in the morning at noon and at night. I have seen many people playing this game and many people don’t like disturbance when playing it. Missing time to participate in this game can make many jobs not to keep on moving since playing this game makes people to have energy to keep on living. I prefer not to play other games but not but at least play this game at least four times a day because lucking playing this game I can meet with my friends in heaven. So because I want to keep on living it is my responsibility to play this game so I can see my friends longer. This game is never boring that most people play it walking, sleeping at night and day time or where there is dark or light even some people dream playing it but when they wake up they get their mattress in a very big mess. It does not need many things to play but only teeth, mouth, food and stomach and everybody enjoy playing. Young children cry very loud when they miss the chance I hope you all go with me and I hope my best game goes with you.
