The kids has a chance to buy each other presents for the big day, they went into the local market with money in their pockets and a close friend in mind just to buy a present for. This went so well, the kids made each other feel so special...
More interesting agendas are in store for the kids this season; on 22nd we will allow them to make a home visit to their guardians and parents. Plans are also being made to allow students that come from a distance like the outskirts of Nairobi to visit their folks in the festive season.
In Eastleigh there was a bash for the girls program on Monday this week. From Tuesday 16th a boys soccer tournament started. Street boys came out in numbers to register their team from the bases. The tournament goes for 3 days and on the 19th another bash will be held for the boys that come to our programs.
About the court hearing, Francis went yesterday with our lawyer, but again there was a glitch, the judge gave a flimsy excuse, but assured Francis and our lawyer that on Thursday 18th (tomorrow), he will give his final decision on the matter. Still be in prayers about this.
Word has reached us that the community is again planning a demonstration against us... the involved persons have been going door to door telling them that we have acquired public land and grabbed them. They also plan to bring down the buildings that are near completion in one of our property.
